Connected through music
Nordic Young Artist Festival is a new classical music festival for young, aspiring artists from the Nordic countries. The goal of the festival is simple: strengthening and developing cultural bonds and unity across Nordic national borders.
With so much exciting musical talent in the Nordic countries, we, the initiators behind the NYA Festival, believe it is both important and vital that these young musicians have the opportunity to perform alongside one another, network across borders, and, most importantly, share their passion for classical music.
The NYA Festival will therefore facilitate two concerts in two different cities — Copenhagen and Malmö — featuring young aspiring artists carefully selected by our panel of professional musicians, conductors, and other prominent figures within the musical community.
Despite being less than 40 kilometers apart, Copenhagen and Malmö still experience limited cultural exchange. At NYA Festival, we aim to strengthen and develop this cultural bond by organizing concerts in both cities, offering Swedish and Danish audiences a musical experience that transcends national borders and highlights the new talents of tomorrow.
